This week, Richard asked his fellow mulls to talk about the films that they love to rewatch... the films that they have returned to time and time again... and start to work out just what it is that makes some movies so incredibly rewatchable - the dialogue, the action, the humour, the thrills, the nostalgia...?

First up, Neil is here to talk about - much-anticipated by fans of The Raid - Gareth Evans' latest fight-filled epic, Havoc, starring Tom Hardy. Available now on Netflix. 
Then Justin discusses the airborne thriller from Mel Gibson in director mode: Flight Risk - available to buy or rent online now. 
Darren reviews the latest collaboration between Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan - 'historical drama' meets 'vampire horror' meets 'blues musical': Sinners. Still screening in some cinemas.
Finally, Richard brings us home by catching up with the comedy-slasher-sequel from director Christopher Landon: Happy Death Day 2U. Also available to watch now for Netflix subscribers.

This week, our four mulls headed to the cinema together to check out the 8th film in the Mission: Impossible franchise.  The movie version of this series started all the way back in 1996, with Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt - the IMF agent trusted to achieve any seemingly impossible mission.  From De Palma back in 96, then via John Woo, Brad Bird, and JJ Abrams, the mission movies have settled into the trusted hand of Cruise and writer/director Christopher McQuarrie.  
As huge fans of the series, and with word on the street that this might be Cruise's finale as Ethan, we were keen to see it opening weekend and see how this compares with the film conceived as Part 1 (2023's Dead Reckoning) and with the franchise as a whole.

We've worked hard to be able to get this episode out to you on opening weekend, but we're also aware that because of those timings you might not have seen the movie yet, so we've tried to keep our post-screening chat as spoiler-free as possible, so you can listen safely. On this week's What We've Been Watching episode, we bring you four more fresh reviews.  Darren starts off by discussing the latest episode of the colossal MCU franchise with the return of Yelena, Bucky, Red Guardian and company in Thunderbolts*. Then, Justin reviews Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza's gritty real-time window into Warfare. Neil tells us all about single-location suspense thriller Locked, before Richard wraps things up with a nostalgic look back at a childhood favourite: 1991's John Candy-starring, Delirious. 

This week, our host Neil brings us a question raised by one of our listeners: What's a film that you liked - but that you never need to watch again? 
As part of the discussion, the mulls circle around some of the reasons that might stop you from rewatching, talk about the benefits and challenges of rewatching movies and whether there is a particular type of movie that doesn't have attract a viewer to watch and rewatch time and again...

For this week's What We've Been Watching episode, the gang return with a slew of fresh reviews of movies currently screening in cinemas.  
First up, Neil reviews current box office behemoth and video game adaptation A Minecraft Movie. Then, Justin dives into the latest horror comedy from A24: Death of a Unicorn starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega. Richard has caught the Rami Malek-starring spy thriller The Amateur; and Darren rounds things up with a review of Drop - a fun mystery thriller from director Christopher Landon.

What is the worst movie sequel of all time?
That's the question that this week's host, Justin, put to his fellow mulls.  He suggested 8 possible contenders for the crown and across this week's episode, they compete against each other for the title: worst sequel ever!
The contenders are: Taken 3, Jaws The Revenge, The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, A Good Day to Die Hard, Meg 2: The Trench, Scream 6, and Jurassic World: Dominion

Since 1987, Mr Pitt has acted in over 60 movies, but which are the very best showcases of his acting talents? Amongst the gang, by talking through his varied and exciting filmography, they aim to piece together The Ultimate Brad Pitt Top Five.

With the announcement that control of the James Bond 007 franchise - a longstanding hallmark of British filmmaking - has been officially sold to Amazon, the mulls thought this was a perfect opportunity to look back at the legacy of this screen icon.  
Between 1962 and 2021, the main Eon-led franchise included the character in 25 films, portrayed by 6 actors: Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig.  Led by host, Richard, the Movie Mull team discuss their favourite movies, moments and, of course, Bonds, as well as talking about how they imagine this world might appear on screen in the future.  
After listening, we'd love to hear your thoughts on the history of the character and his future.  What do you want to see - or not see - in future James Bond 007 movies?
