The Movie Mull
Four gentlemen gather around the microphones on a weekly basis to discuss all things movies! You will meet Justin, Darren, Neil and Richard, they each have very different views on what makes a move great! We shall discuss what we have each watched that week and then move on to discuss a new subject each week.

Neil has gone back to the host's chair, or was he there before? We're all discussing time travel movies and our views, what makes a good one, what do we look out for? You may also find in this episode, the moment that Richard lost all credibility on the podcast...or maybe he finally said what you were all thinking! The rest of the Mulls were ready to bring the Terminator to find him, or at least loop back to a time when he hadn't said anything!
Do you have a favourite time travel movie? Do you like the genre?

When the mulls got together and discussed partnerships, Justin realised that there was a topic of Hitchcock alongside either James Stewart or Cary Grant, so we all took 39 steps North or North-West to our old box sets and tried to find the top Hitchcock movies and see who made the best partnerships. Let's see if you agree with our lists?

Do you recall our episode on the Oscars, we made predictions and guesses on who would win the award and take home the coveted statue. In this mini (ish) mull, we revisit our predictions and see which Mull was the closest. We also discuss the night in general and what other moments struck us as noteworthy discussion.

Darren is your host for the week, he is bringing movies made in black and white since the 60's. Movies that could have been made in colour but the director decided to go with the artistic black and white approach. Does it help, does it hinder? Are there times when it has really not been needed?
The Mulls chat about the black and white movies and the impact it makes on them, some were considered a sin for the screen, others were seen as pure triumphs.
What are your thoughts? Do you love a black and white movie? Would you prefer them to remain in colour? C'mon C'mon, give us your thoughts on Twitter or Instagram @moviemull

Darren was running late, so the other Mulls put a short Mull together for you to Mull over.
We chatted about our top 5 Johnny Depp movies. We didn't like taking scissors to our favourites, but loved seeing the sparrow soar into the air!
Do you agree with our list? What would be your favourite? Drop us a sparrows tweet @moviemull

Richard is back in the hot seat this week and is bringing one of his favourite genres to the Mulls.
Creature features, movies with a monstrous animal causing havoc, the first act of mayhem caused is identifying what actually counts as a creature feature for Richard, sadly some of the Mulls movies were not allowed to make the cut!
Do you love a creature feature or would you avoid them like Brody avoids the water?

Greatest movie partnerships
In this week’s episode, our Movie Mull Justin is back in the host’s chair. He wants to mull over the best partnerships in movies, what makes a great partnership and why we love them. Our other Mulls throw in many other suggestions of great partnerships and then discuss whether a partnership could turn sour, could a partnership run its course and then lead to a poor end result?
Have you got a favourite movie partnership?
Do you think that some partner’s time needs to end?
Do you agree with the partnerships that we have discussed?

If you can’t stand the heat…
Darren is returning as our host this week and has brought the topic of, best kitchen scenes. We discuss movies that take a trip into the kitchen and some of our favourite moments in that room, the room where all parties end up, the room where beautiful and inspirational meals are made, is it the most used room in movies?
Do you have a scene that stands out for you that occurs in the kitchen?
Do you think there is a room that is used even more frequently?
What makes the kitchen, the best space for these scenes?

In this week's episode, Richard takes on the host role once more, this week he is talking about movies that have changed you. A movie that you have watched that was able to change your thinking or make you look at a situation slightly differently, perhaps a movie has changed the direction of your life altogether. Or maybe, you could be like some of the other Mulls, who haven't had a movie affect them in the same way.
Drop us a line on our social media of any movies that have changed you along the way.
