Dog fight!

Richard wanted to pose a question to the mulls...well, most of them. Do you need to have a dog in the fight to care about the message the movie is portraying? Do you need to have lived an experience to resonate with the story? Let's see what the mulls think. 

Burn baby burn!

In this episode, we are talking about what we have been watching and what movies have caught our eye. Lots of great movies were discussed this week and some, not-so-great movies too! 

The biscuit episode!

Our fellow Mull Darren is taken ill for this episode (don't panic, he is fine!) but it meant that our discussion moved to 'films you watch when you don't feel great?' This was a great chat but along the way, we did somehow move away from movies and ended up talking about biscuits...as you do!

Richard was the goalpost

J has asked us, thinking back to your childhood, and of some of those great movies, did you have characters that resonated with you or that you dreamed of being? Did you spend time on the playground arguing about which ghostbuster you would be? This episode ended up being more about a walk down memory lane and less about movies, but it was still great fun all the same. 

J didn’t watch anything

In this episode of 'what have we been watching' we all had a selection of movies to chat about... except for J, J didn't watch anything. But the rest of the mulls have plenty to discuss!! 

How good was 1989 for movies?!?

Darren has asked the mulls to think about the year of 1989, if you could only save one movie from that year, what movie would it be. Initially, this seemed like a pretty easy concept, until you start looking at what came out that year and what you would need to discard, what a difficult challenge this became.

The Jurassic episode

All of the mulls went separately to see the latest Jurassic Park: Dominion movie, they each had their own views and they each wanted to share them with you. This episode is all about the movies and we must stress SPOILER ALERT, we talk about the movie and franchise in great detail and we do go into spoilers for the movie, so if you haven't seen it yet, but are planning to, you may want to wait for a beat before listening.

Tom Cruise

As Top Gun 2 hits our big screens, we felt that getting together to discuss the legend that is Tom Cruise would be the right thing to do, we are once again missing a mull, but hey, we are sure that it won't stop you enjoying the episode.
